Source of Superpower

Sky was not allowed for us, except for birds and superheroes.

But I saw them. People who are hung on gallows.
I knew it. Rope was the key.
Those fools thought that the cape was important.

When I hung myself with rope, lo and behold, I was flying in the sky.
That's how I became a superhero.
